| By installing to the default Firefox program, it went into the temp file of firefox to install, and now the free version is corrupted and won't open. I am regretting my purchase, with a deadline looming when I see my attorney tomorrow. | ||

After I paid for the upgrade, your site said that I had successfully upgraded to version 0.0 ??, but Fireshot does not appear on the Firefox toolbar. The version on IE Explorer is .80, but cannot be upgraded to version .81, as I get an error message that the download cannot be unpacked. I finally got Fireshot uninstalled and reinstalled, and restarted Firefox, but it never truly installs, but continually gives the message that Firefox must be restarted for the changes to take place, which never happens. So, the free version is corrupted, and the paid version won't install.
Bug info as follows: Windows XP Pro SP2 English Firefox version 3.5.7. Steps to reproduce the bug, it's pretty easy on my computer. Install fails, restart doesn't do anything, reinstall fails. Is there a way to simply remove Fireshot completely from my computer, and try all over from a clean install? Thanks! |

Hello Davis,
sorry for the delay in responding, I'll do my best to help you. FireShot for IE you can upgrade manually, using the link: http://screenshot-program.com/fireshot_ie_install.zip The bug you described with FireShot for Firefox is a general bug of Firefox's install system. This link will help you solving the trouble: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQs_:_Uninstall_Extensions The section you need to read is called "Corrupt extension files" |
