I get an error about not being able to create fs_ie_settings.ini. It is very annoying and I have searched this forum and not got the answer to the problem. All permissions are ok, so what is the problem here? Can anybody help please?

Some info about your OS and a screenshot of the error message will be appreciated.

I'm still experiencing this issue and haven't seen any resolution response to this post. Was this bug fixed?  If so, please share the solution.  Thanks!

Plugin version:  FireShot 0.80
OS:  MS Windows7 (and previously on XP)
IE Version:  8.0.7100.0
Steps to reproduce:  Take any capture type.  A pop-up error occurs saying that FS can't create the fs_ie_settings.ini and to check the permissions. I can open the specified directory and file and edit with no problems. After selecting "Save" the same pop-up occurs, FS closes, but there is no saved file (so you have to redo the entire capture).

Please help!

Hello, this is an old issue. In the meantime I'm running Windows 7, and don't ude FireShot 0.80 more, but I remember the issue, and did not get any solution what so ever.
