Screenshot Studio v. 1.9.76
MS Windows 7, build 7100 Firefox 3.0.10 When I try to upgrade my Screenshot Studio to the Full version, using my license key issued December 6th, 2007, SS says that "The license information for this application is missing or invalid. You must enter a valid license key to use this program." Then it works in simple mode. Is this caused by an outdated license (to my knowledge, I have received no information about a new version or anything), by Windows 7, or why does it happen? Thank you in advance. Georg |

I found the same problem a few months ago.
http://screenshot-program.com/sup/art330.htm My findings; Quote:
The licensing details from 1.1.3.4 are not accepted by 1.9.73, thus I am stuck in simple mode. The reply; Quote:
Normally 1.9.x users should purchase another license Good luck JS |

I just figured out that you can buy "Screenshot Studio - Lifetime Support & FREE Upgrades Warranty" after you have purchased Screenshot Studio, rather than buying a complete new license of Screenshot Studio.
Maybe JK can comment if this is a feasible upgrade path for users with SSS 1.1.xxx licenses..... I must state the the difference between SSS 1.1.XXX and SSS 1.9.xxx regarding licensing was not clear and I didn't realise it until my license was rejected. JS |

Sorry for the delay in replying.
The upgrade feature called "Screenshot Studio - Lifetime Support & FREE Upgrades Warranty" has been introduced since SSS 1.9.xxx launch. It cannot be purchased separately because of understandable reasons. |
