A tab labeled "FireShot has been updated" opens every time FF is opened or a web page causes a new page to open. Have tried changing and deleting homepage entry in tools-options-main. nothing has effect. Is there an ini file anywhere that needs modification? |

I am getting the same problem and it is very annoying indeed, I had only one homepage set (google) and I then changed to start with a blank page and the same thing happens, fireshot creates a second tab and takes me to the thanks for updating page:
http://screenshot-program.com/fireshot/updated.php?ver=0.36 Thank you for updating FireShot! Regards, development Team Even if you set FF to start on the last opened pages it still creates a new tab and says thanks for updating etc. Thinking of removing this plugin as it is an annoyance, other than that it is a great product but I will remove it if it cannot be fixed. |

Every page should be displayed only one time for the current version. But...
The problem is in buggy settings' maintenance provided by Firefox. When it happens, it's impossible to store a flag indicating that this page has already been displayed and it should not be displayed anymore (until next update).
