gmcoop: Foxsports Menu Bar Problem

gmcoop: When you capture an entire page on the msn.foxsports.com website the scoreboard gets repeated down the page. Wish I could turn off the menu bar on the webpage, but it just floats there.

Try it. Capture an entire page of the following URL
http://msn.foxsports.com/ and you will see the scoreboard bar repeated several times.

Windows 7 64bit Pro
Firefox 12
Fireshot v 0.98

JK: Hello and sorry for the late answer.

This folder is used only when you export to External Editor. There were some bugs actually, but they all will be fixed prior to the next release.

Ash: That's a shame - this is a great addon. I'll use the chrome version for when I need a screenshot - its just a little less convenient. Thanks anyway... and thanks for your efforts and the quick response.

JK: Great, thank you for your reply.
Yes, youtube capturing method's been modified.

The trick with the selection area is caused by Flash, will see what can be done.

Cheers :)

trukman: A Registry Fix For Those (including Me)That Are Having Trouble With The SIMPLE Version!Like many others I have found Fireshot to be a very useful add-in and am outraged that I can no longer access the free version.,

However, I have found a simple solution. As this involves editing the Registry please: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.!!

PROCEDURE
=

    Start>Run...>Type "regedit" in the box.
    Click "OK"
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Screenshot Studio for Firefox
Right-click on "fx_prokey" and modify the current value "yes" to "no".
    Close Regedit.
    Reboot.
    Fireshot now operates as before.

This works for me (Windows 7, Firefox 8 and Fireshot 0.95). And XP Home, Firefox 12.0

I hope that this will be useful to others.
