I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate and IE 8.0.7600.16385 and FireShot that I just downloaded from the website fireshot-0.83-ie
I've tried to install several times since doing a fresh install of windows 7 (not an uprade, never used windows 7 before) It works great on the latest version of firefox but won't install on IE. When I run the install program windows pops up saying it didn't install correctly should it try again with corrected settings. I open IE to see if it shows up and it doesn't, so I click okay to try installing with corrected settings. It walks through the install process again and when it finishes I still don't see fireshot in IE when I open it. When I go to tools>manage add-ons in IE there is nothing listing fireshot. |

A quick fix for this bug on 64-bit systems is to avoid installing FireShot into "Program Files (x86)" folder.
This problem will be solved in the next build. |
