Is it currently possible to programatically control FireShot ? [perhaps the API that is mentioned at Mozilla as a future enhancement would do the trick?]
For example, it's easy to programtically control Firefix or IE to make them populate with a web page, and then print it. It would be handy for us to be able to populate a browser with a web page, and then tell FireShot to create a bitmap file of that page. Thoughts? |

Can this work in IE8 ? (with FireShot installed, of course)
This details the inclusion of javascript in an actual webpage, to be able to execute FireShot functions from the offered webpage. We have a scenario where we have a program that is controlling FireFox, and telling FireFox to do things...like "go get this web page at this URL, and when done, print the web page to a PDF or to a printer". We'd like, instead of telling the browser to "print", we'd like to tell it to "trigger FireShot to save web page as PNG image". Thoughts? If this is too wordy, or too much to ask for an answer...don't worry, we'll figure it out. The fact that there is any sort of API at all is a big step for us; thanks! |

| Actually the API at webpage is not required in your case. Just examine fsapi.js file and discover how to trigger required function. | ||
