I purchased a Screenshot Studio Pro license/key and the license worked perfectly during installation of ScreenShot Pro, but when I installed FireShot as an add-on in Firefox, it asks if I want to purchase the Pro version, when I try to enter the license key, it says its invalid. How do I get my purchased copy to work as an add-on in firefox?

| If you want to use a free version of FireShot included, please use it. If you want FireShot Pro, please upgrade your license. | ||

Wow, seems pretty deceptive. The only reason I purchased Screenshot Pro instead of Fireshot Pro was because of the so called FREE Firefox add-on.
Very disappointed so far..... So much for thinking it was a good idea to pay $47.66 for this software with lifetime FREE upgrades..... You should be ashamed. Tim Doughty |

Firefox addon distributed via Mozilla's site is FREE. If you need PRO functions, you pay for them.
Screnshot Studio is for capturing not only from the browser. FREE version you planned to use after Screenshot Studio purchasing did not imply using any licenses. And it's 100% yours. |

Fireshot VERSION IS THE LAST ONE ; impossible to detect where the verion N° is
OS : WINXP PRO SP3 FIREFOX VERSION IS 3. 0 .18 IE VERSION IS : 8. 0 .... (latest version ) defaukt browser No way to make my license key accepted (this is new ); first of all Upgrade to Pro does NOT appear in Firefox; it does in IE ; but my key was rejected a hundred times; I must say that I received a key for Firefox not for IE but it worked well some days ago ; what I should do I do not know so far ; this happened after a restoration ; I apologize to JK who complains that it was the third time he sent my license keys ; but at the time I asked I had forgotten that the key is issued by Avangate and not by Fireshot . something does not work here ; should I first uninstall or what am I to do ? Thanks for paying attention ; lifetime premium support OLIVIER GEBUHRER |

| So I upgraded to Pro Fireshot in Firefox, but doesn't seem to work in IE for pro version. Doesn't one license of Pro include all Browsers, IE, Firefox and Chrome? | ||

I want to use my ScrenShot Studio license to used as an EXTERNAL editor aplication for fireshot (free) plugin.
i dont need multiple browser support . Only one, for firefox. although i use chrome, opera , ff and ie. i dont want to pay for fireshot pro because is like duplicating all the edit features of a product i have already payed on screenshot studio . at least this is the way you advertise it, SS as an advanced solution of FS free. |

nevermind
i just founded i can use screenshot studio, without error prompt, as an external editor for full page edit of a web page captured with fireshot (free) only IF screenshotstudio is not already running on taskbar when invoking it. bad thing because im used to have screenshot studio auto started with windows. maybe you can fix this in a future revision release. other thing is , where can i find documentation on how to use the command parameters when using external editor. the pop menu help (on fireshot in firefox) is not clear on how to use them. using ScreenShot (licsd) 1.9.86, firefox 3617, windows xp spanish-spck3 thanks |
