I have been using screen shot for quite some time now, as well as fireshot both for IE and FireFox. For several weeks now my screen-shot studio simply ignores my click to load.... I go to start/all programs/screenshot studio/screenshot studio and click on it (it normally woud load the program giving me the white S on the fuscia square over all my other windows and in my tray). Now nothing happens.
I simply don't know what version it would be since I can't get to it. I use Win XP SP2, have FireFox 3 and IE 7 (though ScreenShot Studio works outside the browser as a stand-alone program). I reinstalled it .... it looked OK. But I still can't get it to work. |

| No. It's not on the tray and is not floating over the other windows as it was before. | ||

I don't know if this could be the problem. I went to my firewall and antivirus program (Kaspersky) and deleted all entries for Screen-Shot Studio. I reinstalled it and now is working fine. During installation, Kaspersky reported placing it in low-restriction. It may be that the records I deleted referred to SS being placed in a higher restriction setting that wouldn't let me run the program.
Glad it seems to be solved now...I've come to depend on this little fellow. Thanks. |
